Which best defines you?

CEO (not CIO)

Losing data due to a system failure could have serious financial implications. I’m not willing to risk it. I want someone who will constantly monitor our systems and make sure if there is a problem, it is addressed immediately. I’m concerned about security, as well. Even the slightest threat of a breakdown must be treated as a priority. And paying a flat fee for all these services means I can predict my annual IT budget.

This is me

Default IT Guy

I’m not an IT expert. I know enough to get by, so when there’s a problem, people ask me to fix it. Sometimes I can; sometimes I can’t. But I seem to be spending more time working on IT than I am on my own responsibilities. I want a company to take care of all our technology needs so I can get back to my real job. I want a help desk staffed with experts so my coworkers can call them instead of me.

IT Guru

I want data center resources like off-site backup and colocation. I want someone to monitor the system 24/7 and alert me if there is a problem. I want Microsoft certified experts to fill in the gap when I don’t have the time or resources to do something myself.
